His songs on the “Farmhouse Sessions, “some of which go back to his early days as a songwriter, ooze lyrical depth, touching on love, loss, failure, and redemption. The songs are informed by his struggles. “Through it all, my philosophies about music have changed from excess and opportunism to profound gratitude. It is still kind of unreal that I get to do this with my life, and I am fully aware that it is not just me that makes that possible. - Excerpt by Randy Erickson.
